Chicago's
ghostlore is riddled with religious wraiths. Tales of cloven-hooved
strangers, winged wanderers, and--famously--the spawn of the Devil
himself. Come along on a spiritual journey as we explore the saintly
and the sinister among some of the city's most cherished tales. We'll
tell of Julia Buccola Petta, the sainted Italian Bride, whose body was
miraculously preserved after a tragic young death. We'll hear of the
night Satan came to dance with the young girls of Bridgeport--and of
the literal mark he left behind. We'll revisit the supernatural life of
Father Arnold Damen, and hear how he may have divinely influenced the
Great Chicago Fire--and how he still haunts the church and school he
founded. We'll
view the church where more than 200 parishoners claimed to witness a
demon approach the altar one night to receive Holy Communion--an event
published in the Chicago Tribune, and you'll hear how the Juvenile
Courts are haunted by one of the most influential bishops Chicago has
ever known. We'll visit one of the most haunted houses in Chicago,
cradle of the Rosemary's Baby story, and you'll be stunned at what
stands today on the birth site of the founder of the Church of Satan
himself, Anton LaVey. For reservations, click here. OR CALL 888- GHOST-91

The Chicago Hauntings Ghost Tours are conducted aboard the city's only
"Ghost Bus," and each lasts approximately 2.5 hours, visiting an array
of authenticated haunted sites throughout the city. This is not
just a driving tour where you'll ride for hours and simply look
out the windows of the bus. Rather, we depart the bus several
times throughout each tour at some of Chicago's most actively haunted
sites, inviting guests to investigate a particular haunted Chicago
location for themselves.
Below, Ursula Bielski and a Chicago Hauntings guest enjoy the tour.
